Got my Watsen's today and I have to say these things are a work of art. The workmanship is top notch. Powder Coating looks amazing and the color match is great. :yahoo:

Pics and video do not begin to demonstrate how bright they are. :dribble:

Nice!! I could see a set of those on my '03. However, I'd be interested to see some video at about 50'-100' back. looks bright close up, but my concern would be daytime visibility at a distance (eg. across the intersection).

Awesome looking setup, awesome looking bike. I think an R1 would be a great complement to my FJR1300, the only problem being is that I'll never know how you guys can ride those darn things for any amount of time. I've sat on many R1's at the dealer, rode an R6, and man that riding position sucks!

Sadly I had to sell the bike due to being diagnosed with heart disease. :(

Had to sell it to pay off bills because at the time it was almost certain I was facing Open heart surgery to repair the issue in my heart.

Things are better now and avoided surgery because medication treatments reduce the size of the over grown muscle area in my heart.

Lots of medical bills now to pay so I will be without bike till then end of 2010 for sure. :(

Maybe by then the FJR will have been updated!! B)

Yeah why Yamaha continues to put those dated things on their super sports is beyond me. Good thing they went a different way for for the FJR.
