Bin o facts is a goldmine-three questions ..Alternator output is said to be 590 watts for gen 11 bikes-I read elsewhere that only the AE was bumped up to 590 & the A remained at 490- which is right? Also on the throttle sleeve, cam farkle-if the outside diameter of the new sleeve is greater, will that be a problem with heated grips. Last question-do we have a rev limiter? Yeah I know, its easy to find out, but I'd like to get to know her before I put the whip to her..

Elsewhere here on this forum...or another site? Because general consensus on this forum is the Gen II bike is 590 regardless of being in A or AE trim. It's just that the AE may use a bit more juice than the A.

Same part number for A & AE stator for '06 - '07 models . Stator Assembly Part # 3P6-81410-00-00

I understand a "soft" rev limiter. Said to kill fuel injection on two cylinders to ease the abruption at speed. There has been discussion about the exact RPM it kicks in-varying opinions. I hit it a couple of times on my 05 but have not hit it yet on my 07.
