I've often cleaned my bike of bugs, etc. after a days ride with either Meguiars quick detailer or Zaino Z6. Any of the detailing sprays will work for washing without water. But there are some caveats.

The dirt can't be caked on mud, for that you will have to wash. For surface dust and dirt and bugs which are just a surface film, you can use a detailer spray to clean with. The key is use plenty and use a microfiber cloth, something that will pull the dirt off and absorb it into the cloth. Use alot of cloths and turn them often.

Also, as the BOM web site points out, your clear coat is the protection for your paint and you want to use a polish, not a wax on it. Paint and clear coats are chemicals, why would you want to protect them with an organic compound that will wear out in a month or two. Use a polish/sealant on your paint like Eagle One Nanowax, Meguiars NXT or Zaino. All of these are synthetic and based on long strand polymer chains linking together when you apply them to give you that nice shine. They also give you a nice smooth, slippery surface where its easy to wipe bugs off of.
