Wow, this is hard to read. He was taken too soon. I'm very glad to of met him at the last WFO.

First time I have been able to post. Just got back from the Southwest (North Rim Ride).

Condolences to Patty and to Tim's immediate family.

Thanks for the call Richard, and for the post Matt!

See you all (who can make it) in September in Santa Barbara.

I'm sad :sadsmiley:

I haven't been on much lately and just saw this...unbelievable. Had to read it twice to make sure it wasn't some sick joke. I just met TWN at NAFO and he seemed like a really great guy.

Life IS really short.

RIP

Tim was a fixture on the SoCal rides. I'm numb at the news, I can still see him as if it were yesterday.

Another giant has left us this year. Be at peace, old friend.

Ray

Lots of us couldnt ride with ya in the past TWN, but I know I have a ridin' buddy waitin' at the other end. Rest in Peace Friend. We were all blessed the universe shared you with us for just a little while...the forum weeps.....

I am standing upon the seashore.

A ship at my side spreads her white

sails to the morning breeze and starts

for the blue ocean.

She is an object of beauty and strength.

I stand and watch her until at length

she hangs like a speck of white cloud

just where the sea and sky come

to mingle with each other.

Then, someone at my side says;

"There, she is gone!"

"Gone where?"

Gone from my sight. That is all.

She is just as large in mast and hull

and spar as she was when she left my side

and she is just as able to bear her

load of living freight to her destined port.

Her diminished size is in me, not in her.

And just at the moment when someone

at my side says, "There, she is gone!"

There are other eyes watching her coming,

and other voices ready to take up the glad shout;

"Here she comes!"

And that is dying.

I close my eyes

Only for a moment, then the moment's gone

All my dreams

Pass before my eyes, a curiosity

Dust in the wind

All they are is dust in the wind

Same old song

Just a drop of water in an endless sea

All we do

Crumbles to the ground, though we refuse to see

Dust in the wind

All we are is dust in the wind

Now, don't hang on

Nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky

It slips away

And all your money won't another minute buy

Dust in the wind

All we are is dust in the wind

All we are is dust in the wind

Dust in the wind

Everything is dust in the wind

Everything is dust in the wind

The wind

WOW...I was gone over the weekend and found this yesterday at work, where I couldn't read it. Like most on this board, I never met TWN in person; however, I always looked forward to his responses and to see what he was going to say. I think it is weird that so many of us feel a loss for someone we never even met. He was witty and smart, and had a good sense of humor. I am sad that he is gone and I am sad for his friends who will miss him; he had a LOT of them. :(

Very nice. Touched my heart. Me thinks you ain't no Iron Maiden at all after this post.. :****:

Been out of touch since Friday night. Sitting in a motel in CT with wi-fi and I get an email from Ig.

I am stunned speechless. My condolences to loved ones left behind, rest in peace Tim.

Since Andrew's departure, anytime it's been a while since checking out the board, I'm always reluctant to go on, hoping there's no one missing. Today, talking to a friend from Ca, mentioned Meyer's seats always highly recommended by TWN. Then, tonight, finding this out. Totally stunned. Believe my first encounter with Tim was when he sent a reply to one of my first topics on "the wave". Busted a gut laughing (countless times). I loved reading his posts countering the "know it alls" (you know who you are) with intelligent quips. ...heavy sigh.

My prayers go out to the family, closest friends and fjr community.

I wouldn't normally change my avatar, but this does seem quite fitting in this case.... :(

Good idea, Thug.....

Bust - That's a pretty cool laser job of Tim! Maybe others would like the same???

Maybe do a "TWN" logo on everyone's shield.

Another member of our community has been lost, another man well respected that I didn't have the pleasure to met, only knew him through his words. Very sorry to learn of his passing and my condolences to all of his family and friends.
