A shy young feller wanders into his dads workshop to ask him a man-to-man question.
Shy son: Dad, I have been thinking, I would like to get married and I don't have much experience with girls, I thought Mrs. Green's daughter Betty was rather sweet, do you think I should ask her?
Father: No son, you see, I had a bike when I was young, and I got around a bit, and well, Betty is your half sister.
Shy son: Oh, wow, I see. Well how about Mrs. Johnson's daughter Janet, she has always liked me and she smiled at me twice last Sunday at church.
Father: Nope, sorry son, same again. She is also your half sister.
Dejected the son wanders off to think. He eventually goes to his mother in the kitchen.
Shy son: Mum, I was asking Dad about whether he thought it would be right for me to ask either Betty Green or Janet Johnson to marry me, but he says that they are both my half sister, so I can't.
Mother: You go and ask who you like son, he's not your father.
