Interesting to note on the valve clearance thing. I've no idea which direction they are going as this is the first check under my ownership. Thanks for the tip.

Unless I missed it, you didn't say how many miles on the bike. My bike's valves were still near the loose end at 26k and near the middle at 50k. I say don't sweat it if yours are near loose but in spec. If it ain't broke don't F with it.

At 33k and in spec I wouldn't worry too much about it. Check again in 15-18k and see what you get. No biggie at all IMHO.

Yea, a member over at TWTex is about to tackle some of this stuff and I came looking for a pic and some info and noticed that I must have not understood his question at the time and felt bad about it. I'd just taken a pic of the caps for the other guy so figured I'd toss it in here in case it helps someguy or anyone else tripping across this thread. Caps were like $4 something if memory serves me right.

And yea, couldn't be 16 months, I haven't even had the FJR a year yet!
