We're all packed up and ready to go! Fri. doesn't look too good, but the rest of the trip does, be there till Tues. See ya all when we return! Be doing the usual, Cherahala, DG, Foothills PW, and of course BRP. Were going to Cades Cove this time also. Going down to Suches too! Have an old friend who lives there. Haven't seen him in 16yrs. Had lost touch till recently. Just glad to get out of Fl. for a while!

Hmmm... I would stay away from Cades Cove. What a miserable place that is. Especially when anything is changing color or ANY animal can be seen from the windows of the minivan in front of you. That includes squirrels, mice, crickets, etc.

Woke up this morning in Robbinsville to this! Drove in this **** for the first 100 miles home. Thought it would get warmer as we got closer to Fl. It did, but not by much! Other than that, a good weekend!

Left Knoxville this morining, did the Dragon then the Cherohala. Snow in the grass at the higher elevations on the Cherohala. Was going around one right hander that was in the shade and had some ice about a 1/3 of the way across my lane. Am now in Cullman, AL and had dinner with 2 ex GI buddies. Will leave in the morning and do Arkansas.
