I'll be making a trip to central Florida over the Valentine weekend, I am taking my FJR (pending borrowing a trailer)and could bring one back, or take a look at one, somewhere along the way. It's amazing and frustrating dealing with internet searches.

I have emailed several people from the craigslist to request pictures, and have not had anyone respond.

Contacted a couple via their phone numbers, and still cannot get pictures emailed.

I just can't make a serious offer on 1 or 2 photos, so close up pics or paramount.

The local guy 3 miles away selling his FJR, will not return phone calls or call me to set up a visit.

I offered him darn near asking price for his bike, serious offer, yet no response on getting together.

Baffles my mind.

Really liked an 06 in LA, but the seller can't get his computer to work, so I offered him to take cell phone

pics and text to me....two days, still waiting. I offered to drive down Today (Sunday) to pick up bike

if I could get the photos by Saturday before bank closed.....no word.

Heck I even posted up an offer sheet on craigslist to entice seller's a bit.....only get spam mail.

i feel for you man i have dealt with people before where its like they are saying i will do what ever i have to not to sell you this. the right one will come.when i bought mine i was looking for a good deal funds were

limited i used a site called clgenie.com i belive that was the name google it to make sure you just give them key word(fjr)

and your email address and you will get e mailed everything on craigslist in the us as its listed best of all its free thats how i got mine. dont deal with anybody that wont give you a phone number.

I have an 05 I was planning to sell this spring, its time for its 26K check so i will be discounting for that. I also have an enclosed trailer to sweeten the deal, and a few extras. Also looked on Jaxed, it's pretty comprehensive as well.

The 07 that came up in Texas...well, he is wanting NADA Retail price.

NADA Trade in is $6250.00 on an 07 FJR 1300A; I offered the middle, and he is not wanting to sell.

Looking at a couple 07's at dealerships in CA.

Thing I found out about bikes on consignment at dealerhsips, is the dealer get's approx. 20% of the sales price.

Which means the seller would be in a tight against his price margin.

I was all prepared to drive to New Roads, LA and meet a guys price on an 06',this weekend, but he won't send me any close up pics>>>?????

Oh Well, the search continues.

Wow! Very nice 08'..If he needs cash bad, he may have put better effort in his ad.

Have not had a successful craigslist hit yet!

Can't get any cooperation from sellers....even when you agree to meet their price.

Dealers respond pretty quickly with Cycle Trader though.

Done with that.
