What??? Did you forget to add a couple of bars for them to stop at???

Kind of like the guys that love twisties and then try to straighten out every corner. Go figure ;)

Surprised he didn't come back and say there is no way you can do it in 8.5 to 9 hours.

That is some funny stuff!

You tried to help, and that's the thanks you get. Aaaaaaargh! Hands off me gold! Damn pirates!

Harley Rider at work got access to a time share condo near Branston,MO. for a week, so he and two of his fellow HD riders planned a weeks vacation around a ride to Branston two up with their wifes. Knowing I have made a ride or two or three to that area, he asked if I could help him with a nice scenic route, not to complicated. Sure be glad to. Heres how I like to go, US 24 West to IL 107 South to US 54 West to MO 19 South until you come to US 160, take that West to Branston, S&T maps it at 10 hours, but I tend to do it in 8 1/2 or 9 hrs.
Well he got back to work Monday, I asked him how the ride was, and the answer was " crookest damn road I ever been on one fr**ken turn right after another, took us better than 13 Fr**ken hours to get there, never got over 40 mph, I'm never going on that road again.

Sheese, I always thought that was a nice day ride, guess I'm out of the route planning business. :glare:
just goes to proove, ONE MAN'S HEAVEN IS ANOTHER's HELL. :dribble: :D :D :D

There are places in MO and AR that 40 mph gets you a crash...it's so twisty.
