Got a pretty good deal on this flawless 1200 sportster, been want'n to sell my Drz400 & Ole Shadow for one cool ride around town bike. Vance & hines pipes, hypercharger, quick release shield. Only 12K miles on this 05 beauty.

Small world, I was at a family reunion in Minnesota today and my cousin showed up on the same model bike.

Holy cow, Mark.

10 days ago, I sold Laura's '05 Sportster 1200 (4900 miles!) to a fellow here in Sacramento. Same color, same shield, same crash bar!

It even had leather "doggie bags". :D

If only I'd known you were in the market ….

Enjoy the bike, amigo. Well-made machines.

JEALOUS! I love the Sportster. A Sporty was my first bike, back in '03. I put 47K miles on it before trading (waaaaaaaay) up to the FJR.

I sold it shortly after getting the FJR; couldn't afford two. But I want another one. Just yesterday I spotted one and told Fang I wanted another one. They're way fun around town.

But once I got the Feejer I just didn't feel comfortable commuting on the freeways anymore on the Sporty. Because compared with that, they don't do well any of the three vital performance characteristics (and skills) required for commuting longevity: braking, swerving, accelerating. But fun as hell.

Loud but not any louder than the cobra pipes I had on my Kawi 800, Vance & Hines pipes give it a nice deep sound like the big H/D v-twins.
