I would agree with Jim and/or take rt. 220 north to rt. 30 east all the to York, excellent ride, good roads, great views and good places to stop and eat.

I used to live in Richmond and used to ride back and forth to Parkersburg to see my son. If you can squeeze in 33 out of Harrisonburg or 250 out of Staunton over the mountains, you won't regret the ride!!
