Damn why ruin a good thing. Its like why would you want to take them hunting or fishing. Plus Sparks is just a few miles from Reno. Way cheaper and more fun.

Sparks? I smell a story.

*Pulls up chair, pops a beer, opens bag-o-Doritos. Taps toes in wait.*

Sparks is to Reno what Henderson is to Las Vegas. The grubby little brother that's always trying to glom on.

There is/was an awesome car musuem in Sparks, Nevada. Saw it some 20 years ago.

Well, as fate would have it, it looks like I may very well be trailering my bike up there. The hell, you say?

We never did have any kind of honeymoon (other than the unofficial newlywed period) so we were going to go to Hawaii this July. However, an unpredictable employment situation threatened to jeopardize my time off. So, we couldn't afford non-refundable reservations for plane fare.

Therefore, we decided to go to Mammoth the Sunday before WFO to do some fishing and High Sierra outdoor fun. Since seven nights of motorcycle-based travel couldn't include float rigs, fishing poles, ice chests, lounge chairs, adequate female wardrobe, and other related paraphernalia, we figured we'd just drag the FJR along with us, then on to Reno, as we couldn't really leave the truck and trailer behind in Mammoth. Besides, I told my dad (who lives in Reno) I could help him move since I would have a trailer. Plus, Eve would have transportation in case she didn't want to go on scary high mountain pass group rides. Maybe she could lead a SO shopping expedition or something while I'm out with the wild bunch.

Is there an award for the bike trailered the shortest distance?

So, can we park the FJR inside while it's still on the trailer, behind this?

I bet TWN will be bringing some of his gerbils. God only knows how many of the poor creatures he can fit in his sidebags.

Me? I'll bring whatever supermodel happens to be in flavor at the moment..............

Ok, so I'll be coming by myself. Those supermodels are way too high maintenance anyways.

Mmmmmmmmmm, gerbils. Toe, you obviously worked on that story quite a bit, good one, keep it up. :D

Saw one of those new Toyota's at the auto show this winter. More plastic than a Cozy Coupe. And Toyota still hasn't hired a person with any styling talent...just more bland...but I have $50 that says it will run forever and ever and ever and ever... :D

I'm bringing Pending. He's bringing a guy called Joe Head. I was afraid to ask....

With almost 300 people signed up to show @ WFO in Reno....I expected alot more responses :( ....such is life

I guess it just goes to show you that most leave the significant other at home where they belong. Motorcycles, hunting, fishing etc is for men. This is from experience. The last time I took a women on anything like these all I heard was I'm tired, its cold, when are we going to stop, I want to go home. I guess you can tell by my response I live alone.

Most likely riding solo for the weekend. Kinda tough for my wife and I to both leave our infant at home for a weekend getaway. Now, when she's thirteen (my daughter, not wife TWN), I'll be begging to send her away for a solo weekend.
