Hmmm, with the amount-o-peeps swinging in from right-o-the-Rockies, is this thing turning into the NFO yet? :dntknw:

Hey now, Rad! I don't hate them....I just do not see a logical reason for their existence in this post modern world. The Model T had hard rubber tires, but we managed to evolve beyond that. I guess you could say we need to keep them around so we know what the primordial ooze was that gave birth ot the modern motorcycle...

:bleh:

I know of at least one more possible attendee from MN. Just need to get him to register. Pretty thin contingent from the upper midwest. Looks like we will have to drop down and hookup with some of the east coast folks for the ride west (assuming they are not H-D'ing :aacute: their bikes out and are actually riding.)

WC,

I looked on the attendees map and I think the Sparks NV location with N/A listed for the name is me. :D I've sent in my $ and think I messed up on giving you all the correct email when I initially sent it in? I've sent two emails via the website to see if you have the correct email, but have not had any reply. Can you check for me? Thanks and I'm sorry for the trouble?

I see you and Cheryl registered on Oct 7th at 8:46pm, and I do show you as having paid your rally fee.

However, compared to the email address you used below, you did indeed leave off a couple digits on the email address you provided when you registered....

Check yur PM's and we'll get you hooked up....

A note here too. If you're not on the map currently it could be because of a GoogleMap issue. If there is more than one person from the same city (as I know there are) there will only be one appearing.

Future maps will be specially adjusted so that people from the same city are offset a portion of a degree latitude and longitude. They will still look like one point on the default map, but as one zooms in there will be differentiation.

WC,

Thanks for checking and letting me know. I also remember that night I was enjoying a brew that I brought home in a growler from a local brew pub. That explains it...

Ignacio,

Thanks for the info on the map, will take note... BTW knowing you enjoy your beer from the 05 Utah 1088, when you are in Reno/Sparks for the WFO I would refer you to the Basin Brewery on Victorian Ave down the street from John Assuaga's Nugget Hotel and casino. Good beer made on sight.

Where does one get a browser with less cheese? I would have to quit running windoze no?
+1 on the Firefox...and no it runs fine on Windows. You just would have two web browsers installed. They don't much interupt each other too. I have both installed and run Firefox 90% of the time (browser tabbing ROCKS!) and IE for a few weird sites that require fumunda cheese browsers. *

* Note: I do like Microsoft, own their stock, but think CURRENTLY the Firefox browser is better than theirs.

I am offended, yes offended, to think that you folks out West would think that we 'Easties' would stoop so low as to trailer our bikes out to Reno. We don't ride a fumida cheese bike so why would we need a trailer or truck to go to Reno ?

During a previous Sturgis trip it was so funny to see all the trailer folks & their chrome truck bed ornaments. We chuckled as we drove past, of course...

You DID mean to say "Rode past" right?

I thought this thing started out as an NFO, no?

Don't think so, Bob. They're planning CFO so that'll knock a whole bunch outta the picture. If it was to be NFO, it woulda been best to have billed it as such from the git-go, IMHO. Marketing 101: If you build it, they will come. ;)

'SOK, though, more beer and strippers for us! :lmao: :good:

Hello,

Since this will be Andrew (OrangevaleFJR) and my first WFO, I have a question or two. I was perusing the very cool site Warchild built about the event...

How much are the banquet fees?

Are there fees for the FJR1300 Track Day? What date is that going to be?

How big is the block of rooms that are reserved for us? (Trying to determine how quickly we need to get registered)

I think those are all my questions for now. Any info you can provide is appreciated.

So, speaking of marketing, why isn't Yamaha jumping to be a vendor at this event?

Thanks,

Sherri
