Oh, somebody left a bike cover sitting on my bike too. I have it at the house. If your missing one, pm me and I'll send it your way. Dowco cover in a blue L.L.Bean vented bag.
Probably a new thread would sort out the rightful owner straightaway.

I took off out of PC around 6:45am on Sunday with a slight headache... Made it home around 4:30pm.

I managed to hit a rain storm so bad traffic was pulling over to wait it out, traffic that made me wish it was legal to lane split, a car that wanted to exists in the space I was currently occupying, and 100+ degree weather all in the same day. Overall, not too bad of a trip.

I have to say though, I don't recommend riding 650+ miles on two hours sleep. I managed to do that twice this weekend, and the second time was definitely worse. Can't imagine why....

Uneventful - but toasty slab ride to Rocklin CA - 660 miles and 10 hours. Two thumbs way up for a well organized event and a great time.

Made it back. Straight through from Park City to Hermosa Beach. It was 113 degress in dessert and some bad traffic. The absolute hottest I've ever experienced. Fairlaner had a bad tire and we were all worried it would let go somewhere along the way. Fortunately, no problem.
Glad to hear you made it back ok. 113 degrees splitting lanes through Vegas, splashing water on me while driving was certainly a new experience. It was nice to have you along both on the way up and way back. Hope to see you at other events. - John

Got home at dawn yesterday. 2 hours early and about 50 miles short of a BBG. Accomplished another saddle sore, but didn't document anything because I knew it wasn't long enough for a BBG, and hadn't planned on going all the way in one day. But the conditions were about perfect and was making good time, so... what the heck.... let's RIDE, BABY!

Had a great time at WFO! Great folks and a couple nice rides. Half the fun was getting there, going through the Tetons, Yellowstone, Glacier NP, Bitterroot, Sawtooth and then a big "sprint" through Idaho to get to PC. What a blast!

Flight Jacket Required and I left Sunday at the crack of noon and we stopped for an overnight in Ely. We left there at a leisurely 08:20 on Monday and got home in time for dinner. No problems encountered except for some hot temps and traffic in the Sacramento area. We rode Hwy 50, the "Loneliest Road in America" through Nevada and pretty much cruised at 90-95 which is serene on my '03 FJR.

It was great to put faces with so many names at WFO. Looking forward to Denver.

Sorry about the late reply, haven't been on the forum since I got home. Left PC about 0500 local time made it home to Mpls. area 0130 Monday AM CDT. Got a chance to speak with a Wyoming state trooper, he seems to think I should send $150 into the Wyoming state coffers <_< Otherwise I would have been home sooner. Damn!

You shoulda chatted with him on the way there, it might have scored you some cool swag, as long as you could best "Haulin' Ashe's" record for WFO performance awards.

Made it to Lapine with only a bad ign. switch and one road side encounter. Mad Mike stayed the night and rolled out of here around 10am to wander slowly south. :)

Late checkin' here also. Left Park City 06:20 and did 800 miles to home. Lots of desert and a bit warm. Took 88 over the Sierra Nevada just to break up so much slab.

Great event and fun folks. The only negative on my trip was having to listen to 2K plus miles of thumping from my new Avon Storms.

Thanks to all of the organizers and attendees.

Got home ok, did 700 miles in 12.5 hours with a pillion and holy crap an *** load of rain just south of Flagstaff. Bike held up good, especially with the avon storm tires. Wife a little mad at the speed in the rain, hey why can't I go 85 in the torential down pour??? :dntknw: Awesome time, and met some good people. Got my friend buying an FJR in the fall and he's gonna come to NAFO, woo hoo can't wait!!!!

Three days of riding with Dcarver and TWN. We did 622 miles from PC to Susanville, CA. Stopped at Bonneville but did not set a new land speed record. Tried though. Susanville to Fort Bragg- 370 miles of twisties. Hwy 36 is the bomb. Today, we rode the 1 south. I split at San Fransico and slabbed it back to Huntington Beach. Fun was had by all. WFO 6 is now just a memory.

Home safe and sound after taking a leisurely 2 1/2 days through Idaho, Montana and down the wonderful US 12 and Lolo pass. No flats, performance awards or close calls with critters other than a few deer sightings...and one black cat. The rear Avon 46 is toast, oh what, oh what do I get now...

It was great seeing everyone again. See y'all next year in "the Denver area".

Have lots of pix that I'll put up once I'm home along with an eventful ride report (at least it has been so far). Forgot the darn cable to upload pix on the road...
Got home safe and sound late this afternoon. Ride report to follow tomorrow - was too busy catching up with my wife and five year old daughter to do that this evening. Tomorrow has a serious bike wash (4 days of bug guts from Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, Washington and Oregon are glued on), gear storage/organization, a nap, and a ride report before going back to work Thursday (booo!!)

Um, will someone start a PayPal account for me so I can tour the country for the next year? I promise I'll sell tee shirts 'n **** and post a ride report. Oh, set one each up for Carver, Barbabus, O'vale, Highlander, bluestreak, MCML and MadMike, too. Maybe, just maybe, we'll spot a jackalope with big balls eating an oysterlope and then watch it puking 'til the wee morn...

;)

Back in Santa Babs at 8:45 PM. 1st load of stank clothes going roundee round. Trying to catch up on 29 ******* PAGES OF THE FORUM!

Pulled into home base around 8:00 this evening. Would have been sooner, but I had a ton of steel belt showing in my Pirelli this AM, and had to locate a replacement near Vernon Texas. Found one in Wichita Falls, and after waiting for that to come about, hauled the mail home. Round trip total was 4800 miles of smiles (notwithstanding encounters with Deer, electrical gremlins, Cheezy EMGO mirror failures, and tires that give up the ghost 450 miles too soon).

What a GREAT weekend :yahoo:

Got back safe yesterday evening, ---- 1,000 miles after leaving park City.

Rode Hwy 40 south to Strawberry Res (just because) then back north to Heber City. Then shot down 189 and 89 south and stayed in Circleville (of Butch Cassidy fame). looped back on 20 and 21 west (faaaaast road !!), and stayed in Austin (Hwy 50), back home the next day with a few detours along the way. No problems at all.

Total miles for the event was 1760.
