Toto El Mundo!
Day 1 – Monday – July 27, 9:00AM
Departed a day earlier than scheduled due to HOT weather inland. Went to
Credit Union to make a payment on the credit card, then headed to Paso Robles to pick up Rudy who
chose to ride his ’08 BMW RS 1200 instead of the FJR 1300. Our “adjusted plan” was to try to ride as far
as Cloverdale on 101 then on hwy 1 via CA 128 to Mendocino or Fort Bragg and stay on the coast as
long as we can before heading inland probably to Grants Pass, Oregon. I worked, It was quite cool in the redwoods along the coast.
Along CA Hwy 128
Day 2 - Tuesday, July 28 – depart Mendocino/Fort Bragg
- head north on CA hwy 1 until it becomes US 101 at Fortuna/Arcata (Lunch at the Samoa Cookhouse)
- Continue on US 101 until we hit CA/OR 199 to Grants Pass
- After a headz up call ahead, we end up at an OVERNIGHT STAY in Jacksonville, Oregon with cousin Don D.
