It was a pleasure to lead the group on the Big Dog ride. You were the only one in the group that I haven't ridden with before so I was watching you in my mirrors. It didn't take long for me to see that you would have no problem riding our pace. I only wish we had a little more time to make a few more stops to take in the great views. Since we were trying to make it back before the 7:00 dinner our time was limited and the pace was brisk.Just had to stick in a quick "thanks a million" to my new CA friends. Sylvia and I finally got home tonight after 15 days on the road and something north of 4,500 miles. Orangevale told me that JoyFulGirl was looking for a back brace for riding, and after I saw her antics twisting around to get all of those pics behind and beside her, I'm starting to see why her back gets sore!
Outstanding ride, and a great job by BlueStreek showing this northener a spirited but safe pace though a bunch of magical roads in NV and CA. I don't think I slowed the group down too much...
Fabulous pics and a great touch on the narration. Looking forward to seeing you all next year in Colorado (I know this great road near Ouray...) :yahoo:
Very dangerous to say that to a guy looking forward to early retirement Steve! We will take you up on that offer one fine day...It was a pleasure to lead the group on the Big Dog ride.
