I will be riding down to Eureka Thursday July 22. Anyone in the area like to have a riding companion for the trip PM me. I would like to ride the forest road running thru Merlin, Agness and Wadderburn either going or coming home. My wife seems to think I might ride off the road and never be found unless I have a witness to the event.

The PNW gang plans to overnight (in) and leave Roseburg Thursday morning. We don't have specific departure time set yet...so depending on what time you get up could possibly work. Most of us are early risers, so we'll probably want to get on the road by 7 ish to beat the heat south.

Hmmm, that is about two hours from here. I would have to leave by 5:00 AM. Doesn't sound like a lot of fun. Worried about the heat then head for the coast. Seriously, it would be fun to ride with the gang, but I am too lazy to get up that early.

Oh, by the way, today is my birthday. I don't want to reveal my age because of it's sexual connotation, but I was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma July 16, 1941.

Dang! I would roll with you if I wasn't taking the family camping that weekend. However, I'm up for riding any other time. I'm out of Junction City so I'm not to far from you.

Keep in touch. Being a retiree I am available for a ride just about anytime. I play golf three times a week, but would give it up for a good ride. I took a 2000 mile trip to Boise and northern Idaho in June, but other than WFO do not have any other trips planned yet.

I'm headed down from Medford on Thursday and I enjoy the Bear Camp Road. What kind of schedule do you have in mind?

Not getting an early start sound like my kind of rider. There are 5 of us from around the Northwest, (Bellingham, Seattle, Olympia, Eugene), that get together in June, July and August for a week ride. We all around your age so comfort is more important than speed. Would you be interested in joinimg us for a ride? Perhaps we could meet for lunch or a beer to get to know each other a little before you decide. Next week, Aug.8 - Aug. 13, we'll be in Sumpter dual sporting. If you want a short ride come over for a day. We're at the Depot Inn and have an extra bed for a night.
