WFO8 Who is riding up to IDAHO from SoCal?

I plan on making the trek up to Idaho. Hell, we did WFO-1 thru WFO7 except WFO6 when my surgery was priority.

Anyone from SoCal want to ride up with me to the rally or I can meet any of the NorCal folks along the way? I plan on riding through Hell's Canyon before getting to . . . . :scooter: :scooter: :scooter:

Sorry folks, I will not be doing this ride to the ID rally. We took 2 weeks off to do the CFR last month and only have 1 week left that we set aside for a October trip to UT.

Someone, I'm sure will lead the charge up there. Ride safe and keep it cool (hydrated).

I am planning on coming to LA in the summer. WFO8 sounds very nice, but have my son's birthday on the 2nd. May have to return on the 1st.

So, being a little more specific, when you talk about a 'Hells Canyon Run': I asssume you're not indicating NSFD Rd454 [east bank] or Old Homestead Rd [west bank], both up & backs and not paved so far as I know; but are more likely meaning NFD Rd39/Wallowa Mtn Rd from Halfway up to Joseph & Enterprise, correct? I'm thinking of being leisurely/touristy and doin' two days from Bend, by taking that route Wednesday and RONing in that neighborhood, sightseeing a little Thursday a.m., then on up via the Spiral in the p.m. Might lollygag 'til you guys roll through then tag along...

Looks like my second night from home (Wednesday, July 29) on the way to WFO will be in Bend Oregon. Rudy and I are picking up another rider there, with intent to continue on toward Cambridge or ? for Thursday night. Will ride up The Canyon on Friday morning then up to Moscow in the PM.
