Well, I for one, would really like to know what it stands for. I've been told it pays homage to the old Yamaha FJ's, but what does that stand for? Why didn't Yamaha go and call it the Yamaha SST (SuperSport Tourer). Somebody should ask the Japs what the hell is up with that.

Depends on where the attachment points are located that are missing the screws. Can you elaborate ?
