What happened to all my posts?

Okay so I was gone for a while and now that I'm back I notice that my profile says I have 32 posts but they are nowhere to be found. Did they get purged? Just curious. :erm:

There are a lot of posts that haven't been sorted and put back yet, The Admins are working on it, If there is one you are looking for PM one of them, If it can wait then they will get to it as fast as they can.

******* hackers. That happened about a year ago on another forum I moderate on. We lost a bunch of our posts there too. No big deal, I was just wondering what happened. Thanks for the feedback.

Luckily they weren't lost but they were jumbled and all need to be manually sorted.

There remain 5,639 threads to resort. Frankly, I don't think we're going to get them all done and are probably down now to special requests to restore particular threads. Give me a search term to find on any that you think are special (e.g. "fork tube powdercoating") and I can restore them.

Seriously, it's no big deal. Don't worry about it. Like I said I had been gone for quite awhile, three deaths in my family in 2006. Anyway, I was back on the forum and I am back making farkles to my bike and I was looking for an old thread about the Steering Stem Mount by Techmount and I knew I had posted to that thread before so I figured the fastest way to find it would be to look at my profile and then find all the posts that I had made. That's when I found out that none of them were to be found.

I was just curious as to why the posts were gone. Thanks again for the info.

On the first word anyway, already restored here and here and others if you wanted to bother a search.

Interestingly, no "toilet" reference is in the 5700 plus unrestored threads. Looks like we moved over the important stuff.

Well, it was only a good thread in the winter time when us southerners were the only ones riding around and the northerners didn't have anything better to do....except comment on how to clean a toilet bowl.
