Let's see:
Rode up 5 miles of rough mountain road to a highland getaway.
Rode down same road after a rain and found out that clayey sand roadbed is slicker n all get out.
Didn't learn same lesson next day and rode mountain road to hot springs pool north of Steamboat Springs. Having great time with wifey on summer trip to Utah...Arches and Canyonlands rock. So do pools and cooling vests. Drunk Slightly tipsy posting from Moab hotel...Utah 12 tomorrow and Bryce...pictures to follow trip.

Btw, this poor FJR is way overloaded...

enjoy the trip sounds like a great one.

Lmao! Not the mountain beachy, the slick, slimy clay/sand mixture on the road that I live on when it's wet. And it's wet all the time! It's like riding on an ice skating rink. :))

Well, it's been an awesome trip!

Steamboat Springs, Arches, Canyonlands, Bryce, now Zion. Wow!

Have taken a ton of photos.

Wifey has been enjoying this trip. That's what's been so good...sharing these sights with the bride.

Time to see if a beer is available anywhere near here...

Try doing that downhill on a muddy jeep rutted mountain road. I almost wiped out twice on the same downhill curve. But that is so Last Monday...

Gonna soak in the Ouray, CO Hot Springs today with wifey. I'm gonna wave nice like at Beemerdons and his trusty sidekick AJ as they roll past. If they've gotten lost, I'll give them the "Tim" salute as we move on down the road to Gunnison this afternoon,

Love Ouray! Was it Strawberry Park Hot Springs? Sounds like a great trip.

We did Ouray hot springs and Strawberry hot springs by Steamboat Springs earlier in the trip.

Had some wicked peach cobbler at O'Brians Pub day before yesterday after a great beer and dinner.

Had a great beer and guacamole burger at the Gunnysack in Gunnison last night. The sandwich had a great spicy "southwest mayo", whatever that is. It was awesome. Being at the Gunnysack reminded me of 2008 per-Nafo when a few of us met Pinhead and his wife here in Gunnison.

We are near the end of this awesome trip and wifey is a little bit tired. She has been awesome to ride with and jumps in to help me wherever she can. Since she is a bit tired, we will forego the north side of Black Canyon and just head east and north to Independence Pass... One of my favorite spots on earth. This ride is about the scenery anyway and I can ride Black Canyon with some of you bozos some other time.

My wife boards a plane at DIA on Sat morning, whilst I head to Lincoln, NE to visit cousins. I row through beautiful IA on Sunday and thus ends this 2 week scenic odyssey.

Yeah, we may have taken a few pictures, and if work allows, I will try to take a couple of them, wrap some words around them...and post the whole mess sometime near the end of August...
...so I can complete my writing assignment on what I did this summer.

I did all those roads back in late May to early June and they are magnificent! I'm sure it was a great. I look forward to the pictures and report to see how you liked the same places.
