Today I poked around my bike a little. Underneath the right fuel tank cover panel (the black plastic thing just below the fuel tank) I found a two wire plastic connector that had been disconnected and both ends wrapped in a baggie. The 'high' side of the connector went up to a wire harness that lay on top of the motor. There were two other connectors coming out of that harness, also on the right side of the bike. Those two were still connected. The 'low' side of that connector went underneath the large right cowling. I'm sure that if I removed that cowling I'd get a better idea what was on the other end of it, but I'm asking here first. The two wires were blue and white.

I've been looking at my schematics - don't see it.

Post a pic or let us know what it is if you found out.

Probably the oxygen sensor in the exhaust system down below the footpeg.

The two wires going down to the sensor are blue and white. The corresponding harness wires are gray/green and black/blue. The connector is dark gray plastic.
