In 1998 I bought a new Honda Goldwing. When radiator flush time came around I asked the Honda service department and non honda specific service facility what they recommend for antifreeze.

They both said they use Honda antifreeze because it has no silicates.

Silicates can harm pump seals.

I have been using it ever since.
