I do commute, but I also like to get the hell out of dodge whenever I can. I prefer to take the spirited twisty route to get there, but will jump on the slab if need be. I have no problem with camping, or cheap hotels. I also enjoy riding in groups or solo. No GPS other than the one that god gave me...maps work fine. My bike is stock except for the Freeway Blaster horns, G2, Race Tech fork springs, used Cee Bailey windshield and frame sliders...oh I did just get a used Corbin seat. I do the oil changes and put gas it, and it has treated me well for the past 84,000 miles. I'm not sure if I fall into any specific type

I'm pretty much an LT guy, with enough G to support the T (aux lights, Rambone). I T whenever I have the opportunity, while most of my days are just L.

That said, I commute daily, sun, rain, wind, even a little snow.

I think of you as a type C guy, Joe. Puffin on a big ole' Ceegar at every opportunity.
Yeah...I guess you nailed it Fred. I don't go anywhere without my travel humidor. Cigars really relax me after a great day on the bike.
It's a bottle or a can of brew for me...

T-G.

I have the Iron Butt plate, and fantasize about riding in a big multiday rally, but my two ss1000's wiped me out. No way could I ride the kind of distances that real Iron Butt competitors routinely cover.

Type CHP for cheap.

Bought the bike and love it but won't spend more than I really have to. So far I've added a Givi trunk for travel, a RAMBone so I can see my phone while using it for a GPS because I'm too CHeaP to buy a real GPS. Still riding on the stock saddle because it's not great but adequate. Still riding on the stock suspension because it's ... well ... adequate. Only other addition is canyon cage which just seemed prudent.

Loving the bike as is pretty much. Bought it March of 2013 and have 18,000+ on the clock.

LGW (Was gonna say PLGW, but too cheap to buy anything unless it has a HUGE HP to $ ratio)

LTG I guess. Ride a good bit locally but make several long trips every year. Enough gadgetry to make her suitable for the riding I do. No alure to me to get the Iron Butt badge, though I think I've qualified several times.

TAP guy. I enjoy going long distances and want to get there quickly looking good.
