The ride that Silent led Hycle and me on last Saturday included some of the best roads I've ever been on. We went from broad sweepers up the coastal range back down to one-way roads in the thick of a dark forest. Then back up and over the hills to the ocean.

This video is in chronological order of our ride. The accident we came across was not a motorcycle, but some kind of kit car in the ditch.

Lookin good boys. I still say the best riding is on the coast in the winter. Temps are actually warmer because the ocean is warmer than inland temps and less wind in the winter. Alice's and riding skyline is sweet. PM. <>< :D

So that's what riding an FJR looks like. It's been so damn long with these f'ing temps and snow that I can't even remember. Look like fun, I will have to try it in another few months. ****!

Nice video by the way.

Good show, enjoyed all the way from TN.

Noticed your point man was after the skyhooks.

:bike:

+1 on the map

Yeah, grabbing air.

Borrowed the term from years ago. “Non-coms” (AF) would occasionally send a new recruit (airman-basic) to pick up some sky-hooks. Rough on the NuB’s in Montana during the dead of winter, :cold: especially at night. Motor-pool guys loved it!

Great job, JB! :clapping: Great song choice, too. :yahoo:

Don't be showin people that. They will all want to move out here.
No they won't. Once they find out the cost of living, the price of housing, the taxes, etc., etc., they won't want to move to the "left" coast.

That means those of us who DO live here will just have to suffer "lane sharing", turning right at red lights, the stinking Sierra passes, Hwy 1 from Eureka to TWNs home town, the lousy coastal roads like this video shows, the redwood forests, etc. Its a heavy burden but I believe the rest of the Californians will help share the load.heh-heh-heh-heh-heh-heh-heh-heh
