Well, I checked in tonight after being off the forum for 3 weeks. Sold and moved out of one home just before Memorial Day weekend, was in transistion for almost three weeks, then move into a terrific new home yesterday. No Internet except at work this whole time.

The site told me I was down 40 pages on my unread pages. I made it to 14 and couldn't do any more. If I missed anything good, just tell me. Before you waste your time, here's what I know: I'm seeing a lot of WFO traffic in this unread pages - must be getting close? :yahoo: Also, it looks like Scab had a crash. That is horrible, but glad he is getting better. I see, too, that someone resurrected the "What does FJR stand for" site. I can set my watch by the way that comes up consistently every 6 months.

You picked up on a recent change in the character of things. In the last few weeks if someone stubs his toe, he posts it. If a new guy makes his obligatory first post, there are 10 replies. It seems that no thought or comment can go unexpressed. As a result, every day you'll find you have 6 pages of unread posts instead of one or two.

I'm far from an old hand on this forum but I miss the good old days of not so long ago.

The Nutster has been liberally passing out Jimmy kicks to those who've offended his sensibilities...

You forgot that a rider from VA suckered his new wife to a Honeymoon Trip on the FJR on the West Coast.

(sorry kinda jealous)
