And yet Yamaha claims 25% of all FJRs sold are AEs.Not saying I believe that, but I have read it.
And now I have read it too.
And...(now), me too -- soon it'll be a "fact"...

Kinda like: Buell's largest selling model is/was the 'Blast' and BMW's claim that the 57 rwhp R1200C was their top-selling model...

Went for a test Ride today on the AE and loved it. I have decided this is the bike I want. So I asked the Dealer I was at to give me a price on the 09 he had sitting on the showroom and the price he gave me was 18,000 tax, title and tags. Keep in mind the only two things I added was the top trunk, backrest and the Y.E.S. warranty. Told him thank you and I would be in touch. I think I can find a much better deal.

In case you are wondering the Dealer is Honda East in Delaware.

Yeah, you can find a better deal...

Worst part is they have a Silver 06 model with 16,500 miles on it and want 10,500 for that one. And not to mention it is bike they have been using for their Rental fleet.

Buy one of the two leftover AEs that were offered at $10,500 and have it shipped in - you'll save at least 5 grand. Or better yet, ride it home - that's only about 1,200 miles - you can do the oil changes on the road. Y.E.S. is $389 from D&H and the top case can be found on Ebay or bought at any time.
