Is he on that new TLC show "Hoarding: Buried Alive"???
Apollo 11 landed on the Moon with less Crap than Patriot has on his bike. Looking at all that stuff with induce seizures!

they're perfect candidates for HID conversion. fixed focus, long-range aiming; everything LED can't do yet.
You converted yours to HID, right? Though I thought I remembered that you started using something else instead. Your suggestions on how to do the conversion, mount ballasts, and that kind of thing would be welcome!
fixed focal length kit of your choice. bury the ballasts in the nose cone of the bike. et viola!

i actually have a lot of that stuff too. i just don't have it mounted in the photo. instead of the littlelight, i have a small light that clips to the breast pocket of my jacket and has a 1 plane swivel (180 degrees fore/aft) that i can aim at the map pocket of the tank bag, at 3x5 cards, or at rally packet stuff even when off the bike. i have a Sirius antenna that goes up next to the V1 when the receiver is in the tank bag, i don't use Spot or a TPMS (too costly), and my MixIt2 also sits inside the tank bag for mixing audio into the Clarion CB input that then feeds my in-ear monitors. I'd off loaded a lot of permanently mounted electronics (including a DC-powered AA recharger, phone charger, etc.) into the tank bag. When parked for anything more than a power nap, it can all go with me.

I have my Garmin 2720 on the left side of the shelf on a Stem Stand so I can reposition it, and a radar detector on the right side inside a plexi-glass garage I made to keep most of the rain off of it.

In the middle is an AmpliRider mixer. I also have the volume control for the AmpliRider on the far right side and a small box with a pair of ground isolators on the far left. The isolators don't really need to be on the shelf, and AmpliRider now offers the mixer with volume control on the mixer itself rather than a separate box, so these are not necessary.

I also have a FRS/GMRS radio on the left handlebar and a SPOT tracker on the right handlebar. It is pretty busy, but I can't think if anything there that I don't use all the time except for the two-way radio.

MY GMRS radio sets in the middle of my GPS (on left) and Escort X50 (on right.) I'd like to see o close-up photo of that garage for your RD, I can't seem to keep it dry so I have to remove it when there is a threat of rain.

I just bought a 09AE and will be looking up to mount iPhone and a GPS.

Would be good for Feejers to add snapshots of their current dash hookups (as this is now an old thread and many new 'gizmos' are out there that Feejers must be using).

Thanks
