What's the best gear for wheelies?

Run it up to 4-5 k rpm, chop the throttle off and immediately chop it back on.

In 2nd, the front will lift with no cluch needed.

If you do this in 1st, be ready for the tank bag to thump you in the sternum while your view of the road totally disappears.
