Have you ever used the switch for anything useful?
i shut the bike off every time using the kill switch. always have on every bike that's had one.
yep...me too.
Yup me three.
Use mine all the time.

Hell, if I pull up on the right of a fellow rider, I'll even use his. :D
So now the question is this Old Michael, did you learn that trick from SkooterG or did you teach that trick to him? That is also his favorite stunt when we are out riding together! Dr. Rich and I will find a special place in Hell for you two miscreants!

I always use the kill switch because it's the fastest and easiest way to stop the engine, and parking on a slope it ensures the bike won't roll backwards. Hit the kill switch, then release the clutch, then release the front brake.

Having to flip a switch to restart the bike is hardly an inconvenience compared to putting on gear and everything. It takes no time at all.

It's great for flipping someone's switch in the bike lot at work! I did this to the girl that rides a Harley, and she did indeed kill her battery trying to start it. She never has had much in the way of problem-solving skills.

Its there to scare the bejesus out of you when you accidently hit it going down the road and you think you have just had the dreaded ignition switch failure. Don't ask me how I know
