Shoei RF1100

Olympia ATS jacket

REV'IT Poseidon Gore-Tex pant

Daytona Road Star Gore-Tex Boots

Held Air n Dry Gore-Tex Gloves

Custom ear plugs

I got on the Aerostich bandwagon

Darienlight jacket, AD-1 pants, combat lite boots,

Elk skin roper gloves, Nolan 103 helmet. This outer shell gives great flexibility to dress in layers for a wide temp range. Living in Duluth gives good access to the Aero factory for fitting and all the other little do dads they have. When I go hooligan on the FZ1 the old leather jacket comes out. Nice to have options.

when I want to look like a transformer:

Shoei RF1100 high via stripe

Motoport high via ultra mesh Kevlar jacket

Motoport ultra mesh Kevlar pants

Alpinestar goretex boot

Motoport gloves

Forcefield back protector

When I want to look more stylish:

Lewis leathers super sportsmen jacket

Motoport pants

motorport under armor mesh shirt (wear under the jacket for extra protection)

Held "Steve" gloves

What he said. And always, of course, a condom.

(all file photos) The following is what I wear mostly here in Flatistan. Trips up north can add to this.
Arai Signet-Q w/ gold iridium shield

Clover Crossover WP Jacket

Cycle Gear Heat-Out shirt

Reebok Synthetic Briefs

Clover Crossover WP Pants

Sidi Tour Gore-Tex Boots

Wigwam Socks

As far as gloves, I have 5 pair. The ones I wear 95% of the time are:

Cortech Accelerrator

Almost forgot.

Bilt Solar Reflective Vest

@LKLD: Thanks! Thanks. Pictures always help! :)

PS: Are you on Google+ too?

Thank you all for your responses.

Amazing variations. Apart from the Darien Light, I believe I'll need to save up for a Mesh jacket/pant set!

For now

  • Elkskin gloves from Aerostich &
  • Probably Icon (brown) boots.

Your thoughts on the Darien Light jacket?

Did you have any 'mods' done on the jacket?

I have an google acct.. Not sure if I'm on google+, why?

This person is pretty active on the Bike pages on Google + and has the same profile pic. Probably the same helmet. Just curious.

Huh. Why do you only wear a right shoe and glove (95% of the time)? Does that even qualify as ATGATT?

A little more on Aerostich and their customer service. Week before last, I commuted the 20 miles home in a very heavy downpour. During that brief trip, my Darien appeared to leak at the bottom of the right chest pocket...not much, but enough to wet my t-shirt in a nice circular spot. I could see no obvious cause for the leak. Seeing as how the jacket was only a couple months old, I emailed Aerostich about it thinking they'd send me some seam tape or something. Yesterday, I got a return shipping label and a note saying to send the jacket back to them so they could PRESSURE TEST it to determine the source of the leak, repair any problem found, and send it back in short order...at no cost to me. Can't get much better service than that...
