I haven't started to look at my pictures yet. I got home and pretty much passed out on the couch yesterday.

Since, I don't have access to the SD cards here at work, I have been itching to see some pictures from the weekend. Glad you and Tyler (and John in another thread) are obliging.

Now, back to work again! :)

Proof of the implausible:

Wheaton following Tyler.

WheatonFJR003.jpg

On the other hand, on this segment where Wheaton was behind Fairlaner, the guy was just flat fast!

WheatonFJR017.jpg

Which means we waited at the next town 51 miles later....

Boy, did I ever see a lot of the back of that bike. Look who's in front.

Fairlaner contemplates whether other life forms are older than himself.

As it turns out, yes! This one was just a baby when it was cut after 1400 years.

Don and Miss Lucy Liu are awestruck

Where is the thread for the proposed ride around Tahoe and Emerald Bay? It looks like Ebbetts and Sonora are a GO for as early as Wednesday and a sure thing for Friday. Don't know if that would change any plans, but spectacular 3-pass ride is a definite possibility if plans change. The route could take Donner pass down to Truckee, the west shore of tahoe on 89 and continue to Markleeville to grab Ebbetts Pass. That would give you Donner, Luther (small detour to Carson?) and Ebbetts. You just have to ride between 15 foot walls of snow to appreciate it.

No, I didn't forget you Tom! Thanks for being a sport when I asked you to head out towards the cliff so I could snap your picture...

Still looking through the pictures, I took way too many. It will take me some time to sort through these. Wheatie might actually make it back to Wheaton by the time I am done sorting.

Nice Richard! Missed the Peacock, and the trip out was a bit more urgent. That video looks great HD and full-screen.

What was truly amazing was how well Fairlaner rode the mechanical bull. You would think that he was from Nebraska, not Norwich in Old Blighty. A Bloody Good Show!

He eventually met the same fate as Wheatie, but I do think Richard had a twelve second ride. Maybe eight for Mark, if we are being generous. Midwest IL Mook Cowboy!

Here is a funny sequence of photos! Note Fairlaner looking for his lost wallet.

And note yellow top Old Michael with the big wide **** eating grin on his face!

Witness Richard looking in the ice plant for his missing wallet.

100_0728.jpg

Bloody Hell, I have found my wallet. What fecking ******* bugger threw it in the ice plant?

100_0729.jpg

Tally Ho, Mates; Time to get riding again! Ah, nothing is more fun for an Irishman than screwing with the English!

100_0730.jpg

Brian to Richard: Why are you riding so fecking slow?

That is Papa Chuy's muy bonita Miss Lucy Lui in front!

100_0708.jpg

Mike to Tom: Why are you riding so damned fecking fast?

100_0726.jpg

'R' to Miss Tyler: Sweetie Pie, you are riding just right!

There was a large and happy turnout of folk's at Alice's Restaurant on that Saturday AM! Except for the scowling Paddy in the middle!
