Um....use tree bark......lolololol...... ;) Don't mind me....I'm drunk....but, tree bark will work.

If you used Toe's Orange-A-Tang concoction you would come out in the morning and find odot with his head stuck in between the spokes and his tongue wrapped around the air stem. ;)

All the ways that are effective in removing the stickum fall into three categories. Oil based products like Goo Gone (or vegetable oil, even wax) work by preventing the sticky stuff from reattaching as you scrub it off in little bunches. Solvent products such as brake clean, Road & Tar Remover, and mineral spirits chemically attack the adhesive but at some risk to the finish. Then there are the never recommended abrasives. Oils, including Goo Gone leave a residue behind that you will want to clean. Most chemicals will leave a legacy behind that you will want to clean so that in the long term it doesn't get into the finish. Abrasives are quick, leave no residue and kill the finish -- the perfect excuse to polish or power coat the rims B) Heat will get the stuckum to move but it will just re-adhere someplace else as it cools.
