I wont give away the results of the GP other than to say there is one big surprise for everyone.

Also NH is struggling big time. Don't know what the problem is as his team mate is significantly quicker. Troy Baylis did the same at the opening round of the World Supers, then came back with a win.

Only thing I can think of is that he missed some critical testing towards the end of last season (he was focussing on getting the 990 set for the final event of the year) plus the fact that he missed some critical testing immdiately following the season due to medical procedures. With all he went through, I find it hard to believe that he is fully healed.

i belv the new 800cc bike was built to Pedrosa's liking, as he is the knighted young honda hero....Nicky just has to adjust to it, as i am sure he will do.

At the end of last season James Toseland was invited to the final GP to have a go on Nicky's bike for an afternoon of testing the day after the race. It didn't happen how it was planned and JT only got half an hour on Danni's bike. He said that he had his knees under his chin and could not have been less comfortable, but still managed to get within a second of Haydens fastest race time.

He had just come from the World Superbike Championship, so a MGP bike was not something he would be ready for. The point being that the bike will go if the rider wants it to. Something wrong with Nicky I think.

Do you have a link to that article? Would love to read it.

I think Nicky will be fine eventually He's just not up to speed yet on the new bike. He ran his fastest lap times at the end of the race. But, no one's gonna wait for him to get up to speed, so, he's gotta get his **** together pretty quickly.

I am sure Nicky will get back on the pace, Honda will see to that. I was never sure that he would retain the title before the race, and now Stoner has shown his hand its going to be tougher still.
It wasn't from an article, I met James at a charity bash just before Christmas. Great lad, below is a picture of my better half having one particular dream fulfilled. He has a band called 'CRASH' they do excellent covers and performed at the do. He does an excellent Sting impression as well as being an accomplished pianist.

I also asked him whether the MGP bike had mind blowing power after the superbike, he said 'nah, just much noisier'...yeah right James :D Bought him a pint and wished him luck, seems to have worked so far :fan_1:

As I was watching the race, I was remembering what the moto-journalist says in the video Faster!--namely, that with Formula One it's 80% the car and 20% the driver, whereas with MotoGP it's 80% the rider and 20% the machine. I fear you may be right. Why else would Dani have been in the top five?

But how bout them Ducatis...?! YeoOOOOWWWW!
