Where does this rubber bumper go?

I can post a pic if needed, but hope someone will know where this bumper goes. It's black, 3/8" long and shaped like bullet, on the flat end there is a lip that looks like it should be mounted in a hole to hold the bumper in place. Any ideas?

Possibly in the back of the side panel... but hard to say without a photo!

There is a bumper on the back side of tank wraparound too. One on either side near the bottom. Don't loose it, Yamaha changed the part number for that item and sure enough the new part is too big to fit right.
