"Well, I guess that just about covers the fly-by".[Qoute from some movie]
Man... the hits just keep on comin'...

Try this F'Low: q.U.O.t.e. And yes, I was the sixth grade spelling bee champion at Deerfield Elementary. Mrs. Hansel would not have accepted less from me. :p :D

TWN, he must be joking. I mean who, after this community has been through so much, would come take swings at the coolest dude, best bbq'er, most gracious host on the forum? I mean, nobody else has even come close to the consumate coolness of the Nut and his wife. (I will take invitations if you, dear reader, would like to take a crack at winning the O'vale host and hostess award)

Anyway, that noob is probably some old member that's poking fun at ya with a new forum name!

Oh, I almost forgot this on my list of insanely righteous acts of TWN. So not only did he do all the aforementioned stuff, but he even bought me lunch when I got there! Holy crap! TWN is too cool! If you can't get along with TWN, you must be a fudge packer.

oops...almost forgot... ;)

Nah, who would do that? :dntknw:

Oh, me and Mrs. Nut will someday (hopefully, this year via cage) head north toward Oregon to visit with her brother and sis-in-law. We'll need a stop over, so I suppose you'll have some good ole #7 on hand? :D

Good to have you over, my friend. Had a hoot sweating out the shock change. How is that cush ride now?

Yeah, your'e right, nobody would do that. B)

Just give me 8 hours notice, and they'll be #7 and one hell of a menu. Always room for you and the misses.

The cush ride. Wow! The bike tracks better than ever in the twisties, taking an already great bike and making it much better! As far as the bumps, there is no comparison. The Wilbers are smooth like room temperature butter. They must really have the high/low speed compression stuff figured out to handle so tight in the turns and then be able to smooth out bumps that would have previously made me cringe! There were times that I saw the bumps coming, but never felt them!

Damn, a misspell! I blame dyslexia and beer  .

I haven't be on in a week...And yes, I was the sixth grade spelling bee champion at Deerfield Elementary.
Well, you do be spelling all the words right. I guess Mrs. Hansel wasn't real big on sentence structure (or proverbs involving glass houses, for that matter). :D

Hey, go put out a fire or sumpin', wouldja? 'Sides, sentence structure didn't come to being until 7th grade in my time and I never made it that far in my skoolin'. So, structure this, pal.

Lemme see if I can find a "suck-up" smilie for some of you guys....

No thanks, but I do need some help with some touch up painting and side case cover repair. You good at that? If you are, I'd be happy to come to your place, have you help me (do 65% of the work), explain the whole process and feed me, I'll be nice to you too ;) Heck, I'll be nice anyway !

Repairs? Did I miss something, again?

A rock chucked up off the highway and holed his left pannier.
Yup as you look at the bike from the front, or the right if you look at it from where you sit on the bike. It's old. It happened on my first LD trip and madmike told me how to fix it and I just haven't bothered. It is on the leading edge of the painted cover, on the side that faces down so I keep forgetting about it.

Oh. You said side case cover and I was thinking alternator cover. I wrote off the luggage pod covers long ago. Some people just can't be taught certain things, so why get frustrated and sacrifice my bunkbuddy status over a couple hundred boot drag marks?
