Last I heard he injured his arm while attempting to prevent the bike from falling over at the 1088 pre-rally BBQ. Torn something, possibly requiring surgury. No ride on the planned dates, perhaps later in the season if surgury is not required. If surgury, next year.
Confirm on OCFJR. He was scheduled for an MRI Thursday I believe. Probably hear next week at work of the prognosis.

It might make 'dropping in' to corners a bit more interesting though!I wouldn't worry about WC being at WFO. He just might not be able to ride there. Not the first time he's flown to an event he would have rather ridden to.

The full story with pics is elsewhere on the forum. Hot asphalt, center stand, slow motion, bad timing, ugly endings, but the bike is fine. Aside from it being a CBRXX and needing some oil seal replaced. But it needed that before the drop. I mean hey, it's not a VStrom, it should be fine.
