The Pilot Power works great they just won't last as long as the Pilot Road or Road 2 tires. Best grip by far of the Michelin tires I have run, probably not as good as the 2CT.
I prefer the Pilot Road to the PR2. I have had the rear PR2 move in moderate corners on dry and wet roads. Gave me pretty good scare in the rain last night on a nothing corner. Not sure why my experience is so different than most with the PR2. I'll probably go back to the PR after the PR2's are worn out.
If you just want the tire to stick and traction is the priority over mileage go with the Pilot Power.
If you're looking for mileage, for the rear expect 3,500 miles on the PPower, 5K+ on the PR, and 10K+ on the PR2. For the fronts PP - 7K, PR almost 10K and the PR2 10K+. I usually use one front tire to two rear tires. I haven't actually worn out a pair of PR2 tires yet to know what my personal mileage is. I ride 15-20K miles per year so its nice to get a little better mileage. Lot of commuting wearing out the middle of the tire, just what the PR2 is supposed to be good for.
If I rode < 5K miles a year and it was primarily back roads and twisties I would probably go with the Pilot Power.
