Which makes you feel better - Passing Cruisers or Sport Tourers?

Personally, I enjoy passing the Sport Tourers myself. It doesn't happen nearly as often as with the Cruisers, so it's a bit of a special treat!

I have yet to be overtaken by any Cruiser, even two-up. I guess they all just Cruise, mostly. Not that there's anything wrong with going the speed limit (other than being run over by cagers).

And I always share the love as I go by! :bye:

Last year on the "Markleeville for lunch" ride, our group got passed by some hooligan on a Beemer. That dude was wickin' it up!

I don't recommend passing the Cruisers or Sport Tourers that are painted black & white. Self-rescue is #1

I just like passing anything period. Cruiser, ST, car, truck, bus, taxi, bicycle, horse, pedestrians, etc....The only thing I really DON'T like passing is a speed trap. And even those, now that the bike has a radar detector, I sometimes get to enjoy also. I never used to like passing bars either but I've gotten over that (long story, different thread).

P.S.--Toe, I think that is the first time I have ever read the signature line at the bottom of your post. :blink:

It's funny you should mention passing. I really have no preference with what I pass but I have some kind of sickness where I cannot stand to be passed. It really bothers me. I am probably over over compensating for something but since my willie is big I have no idea what it is.

Passing sport-tourers is ok, I guess. Passing cruisers is simply a necessity. Now, passing a punk-*** kid on a liter bike in the twisties... that'll bone me up PDQ (in keeping with Toe's new sig line and all).

i was visiting with some cagers at the the new denver-kaslo cut. answered all the usual questions. then they started talking about the crotch rockets that scream past them all the time. one of them asked me if they pass me like that. i just smiled.
