I've never ridden over wet paint ever...not that I can recall...okay, maybe yes.

Those little glass beads in the wet paint sure put a wobble into the front tire...if I'm remembering correctly. :D

I would feel sorry for him except that he deserved it for crossing the center line. It should come with a sign.

Of course, if hppants comes along and reads this, he might tell everyone that I crossed the center line following him last Saturday. Which would in fact make twice I have done that following him.

Heres the follow up pic...

I wonder what the next picture would look like? Appears that he is not too stable with the left foot dragging and apparently headed for the trees!

That second pic ain't good at all.

Kinda looks like he's target-fixated on the tree he's aboot to hit.

Also kinda doubt he even realized the paint was wet. Or, conversely, he's like the rest of humankind and doesn't believe a "Wet Paint" sign and just had to find out for himself.

Either way, it's his own damn fault for getting that close to the center line which is, on a good day, stoopid-risky on the Dragon.

I used to paint lines on the city streets way back a long time ago, so what I'm wondering is--where the hell are the markers? I've never seen highway line painting where they didn't lay down those orange cones to warn drivers that the paint was wet. And leave them there until the paint was dry enough it wouldn't get all over your tires like that, or leave a yellow trail behind like this squid is making.

I wondered about shot no. 3 in that sequence too, though. By the way, although you can't see how far around that curve he could see, I suspect he was damn lucky some other idiot wasn't coming up wide from the other direction.

I just went to the Killboy highlights to check this one out to see if there might be a 3rd photo. From the Killboy comment on Pic 2 I think the guy rode that one out without crashing.

One of the comments under the photo I really liked, "Watch out for that wet paint, it'll make you go down faster than a hooker on payday!"

Judging by the location of the paint on the tire and the stripe on the road just behind it, he had that bike leaned over a good deal more than it was in the picture... just before that pic was taken. And considering the foot down and the new "line" he took after the mishap, he must stood the bike up abruptly when he realize he was slippin'.
