Who Has The Highest Mileage Fjr?

Good Morning All,

 


I have the week off and I'm hunting for a nice bike. Narrowed it down to the FJR and ST 1300. I've ridden both and like the both very much.

 


So, how many miles do you have on your FJR? Just normal maintenance done?

 


Anyone in the NE selling their FJR? If so, bike, goodies, and price.

Not the highest miles by a long shot, but at 25,000 on my '03, the only things done have been routine scheduled maintenance.

The highest I have heard of was 68,000 miles, and other than normal maintenance and a shitcanning of the rear spring/shock, no issues.

My 03 has 40k and I am leaving for Bonneville Salt Flats on friday and will put another 5k on it before I get home. Mine was a ticker but it never let me down and after the repair I think it runs better than it did new. Other than needing regular cash injections for farkles it is trouble free.

At dinner during WFO there was a guy at our table with 70,000 on his 03. None of the miles were long distance, his longest trip was LA to WFO4!

I am assuming you are the same Spine60 I ment in Naples when I was trying to decide on an FJR. You were kind enough to meet me and let me drool on your bike. I hope when the weather cools off down there you will get a chance to ride that thing. I have already passed you up with about 2,000 miles and probably 2,000 more this weekend!

'04 with 28,000+. No problems so far.
