On the cover is a FJR rider, for a cover story about motorcycling camping, I wonder if this rider is a member here?

That's Amy Holland; the editor of FZ (and creator of same), a former MSF instructor (me and the missus had the privilege of being two of her students), FJR owner, all around great gal and friend.

How strange, I've been reading Friction Zone for almost as long as it has been published and never realized until I clicked on TWN's clicky that Amy's address is in Mountain Center which is just a couple of miles up the mountain from me. The articles are just so good that I never read the fine print.

I really like Friction Zone. Started my subscription last summer and it's great to hear that the editor has an FJR.
