Hello Seattle/Tacoma area folks,

I was out in your neck of the woods and visited Snoqualmie Falls on Thursday 4/17/14. What appeared to be an 05' FJR came cruising by in the rain. Who was it?? Chiefblueman, was it you?

I also went to Woodinville so my wife could get a massage at the Willows Spa and then I went next door to the Redhook for some beer tasting. We had a good lunch at the Woodinville Café as the Barking Frog was completely booked and dinner at the Herb Farm was not in the cards. Nice little town Niehart!

We had a nice visit with my Daughter at UPS and headed out to Olympic Park for the weekend with her.

This is only my second visit to the area and I really need to come out and ride the FJR on some of the fantastic roads I've been on, but only in the rental car.

You folks are spoiled out there, except for I-5 & 405, what a cluster f**k of a road that is all the time.

Tanker, let us know if your riding in this area. There is a bike rental place close to Snoqualime Falls that rents FJR's and a lot of other bikes.

I live just west of the Redhook Brewery, in fact I can crawl home from there.

I live a little further west of the Red Hook Brewery, so it's little bit of a stumble from home.

Yes, we are spoiled. Yes, I5 and I405 are F'ed up.

Wasn't me either, but you're right - we do have great roads to ride on. To far to walk or stumble from Redhook, nice place to visit though!

PS - Don't tell anyone 'bout the ridin roads, k?

Wasn't me, Tanker. Pretty sure you visited Snoqualmie Falls, I do ride out that way frequently, but not that day. Sounds like you hit some good local spots. Let us know when you're back in town. Maybe try to come back during our 3 weeks of summer!

Actually my wife corrected me, I sighted the FJR on Thursday the 17, not Friday.
I know I have seen that particular bike before in a ride report or some other thread. It looked like it had some kind of decals on the sides of the front fairing, like a dragon or similar.

Thanks for the tip on the bike rental nearby, do you recall the name of the company?
Within crawling distance of Redhook, NICE!!

By the way Niehart, the pie at the cafe in town was fantastic! Warm apple pie with vanilla ice cream Yummy!!

I'm thinking perhaps the end of August might work, we'll see. It would be fun to meet some of you folks from there.

I really had things screwed up, the day and the falls. You're right, it was Snoqualmie Falls.
