Very smart.

I used to rest my legs like that on my bikes that had crash bars and highway pegs.

This is a marvelous idea.

Hey...this is a farkle, not a sparkle. It serves a purpose and isn't any uglier than them Givi contraptions, or them dashboard things, or them aux gas tanks. Plus, it is bitchin cuz they don't scrape in the turns like them other ugly highway pegs.
You're right, Andrew. The purpose is what works for a particular rider. Y'know, if you put those on your bike, Sherri could then use the rider's footpegs to stretch her legs. I wonder how much stess the extra leverage puts on the attachment point?

That does look nice as that is the way I would prefer to use my highway pegs, however my concern is even with just added the offset and a set of harley type pegs it seemed that there was a lot of weight on those screws holding the bracket on, and in a tip over it appeared to cause a slight leak, and bend the mounting baracket since I had the pegs deployed, when i pulled over on the way to EOM last year. To wipe the rain off my visor. I was able to take the bracket of and bend it back to form once and then of course the weight of a fully loaded bike bent it in this time causing it to leak, I retightened the screws and it is fine however that is a concern.

So my question/concern is does that offset peg if your bike fell over would it pull the screws out of the housings?

or just being to heavy in the first place?

Thanks

I haven't had the bike fall over with these on. However, I believe that the chrome plated brackets would fold. Like you I'm not wild about where the Wild Bill brackets attach, but I don't have a better way of doing it.

I think that they would be so comfy. But every time I look at them, all I can see is the doctor's exam table. Then my imagination takes over and, uh. nevermind.

Not much...I bet it bends before it breaks anything.
