The FJR wins the "best bike to ride during a tropical storm" award! It's so strange, people are actually driving carefully out there. I think that's the first time I've seen that in Florida in 43 years.

Hey Crash,

I've ridden home both Tuesday and Wednesday from Bay Hill west past Disney to Polk County and been surprised at how many people have slowed down and been more courteous on I-4, still seen a few knuckleheads but less than normal

Crazily enough, in Seattle where it rains for all but 2 hours of a year, people still don't know how to drive when it rains.

Yay for taking 70 minutes to get home on the bus yesterday...

I can ride my bicycle faster than that. It's more fun too.

Yeah, that's the way it usually is in Florida, especially when we haven't had rain in a while and that first layer of oil is coming up. Makes for some nice entertainment as long as you stay away from the idiots. That's why I'm so surprised.

On the downside, I appear to have a big leak in the garage, and the bike was covered with wet plaster, or whatever the hell that spray-on texturing stuff is, and I had to hose it off. Guess I'll have to crawl up there and see what's going on when I get home tonight.

Headed home from Orlando yesterday and got some looks. On the turnpike I got fuel at the service plaza and two people asked if I was crazy. It wasn't bad and very little traffic. Hey free bike wash!!
