I couldn't afford to replace my broke FJR AND get my wife a bike. So, I got her a bike. Here she is on her new ride:

We had a little "discussion" about this.

And this is one of our six dogs, "Hootchie-Moe," my associate spectator for the day.

She's doing very well. I'm proud of her!

(The WIFE, not the dog. The dog is just an *****.)

Cool Scab! And here's a big 'way to go' to Missus Scab.

So what kind of bike is that?

My SO Jane just passed the MSF basic course this past weekend (Jane in action in photo below) and now begins the search for a decent used bike for her .

Her form appears to be better than mine!

Ya... she's not upside down.
Congrats BB... I know it took some balls ovaries to get into motorcycling after you got to nurse (shut up Fencer) Scab back into action after his get-off. I should be getting my bike back within a week or so after my deer strike. We'll ride... and I guess Scab can come along.

Scab... that was an admirable sacrifice to settle for a different bike so your better half could ride. Kudos to you bro.

Scabbie - ... a 'discussion?', ..jeesh dude, you need to teach her the super cool wave, then you wouldn't have no more discussions!..

One big attaboy to you for your decision.. she is lucky too, as are you. Enjoy each moment Scabbie..

Scab good on you for giving your SO the chance to ride. :clapping: I would but I can't keep up with my SO with out wheels.

Toe, I tried. I wanted to send her to the MSF course, but we're having scheduling issues here. There won't even be another one until October. Then, to make matters worse, the courses are usually held a Jacksonville State University but they are bailing on MSF. So far, MSF has not found another suitable site in our area.

She has downloaded and studied the MSF course material and also the MSF book. Then, I gave her my best advice: "Don't do what I do." Then I show her my scars and crooked ribs.

Yeah, JeffAshe told me I was the Poster-Child for Safety Violations.

I wish ya'll could have seen her. She took a break for some re-hydration, and man oh man, she just didn't have the words. Just pure excitement.

And we all know what she means.

Yes we do! Very cool Scab. Before you know it, she'll want to upgrade to an FJR
