...and no, I don't mean turn an FJR into an old street rod. I just think the flames on a solid black faired bike would be very unique.
Roger

If you had those flames on the fairings whatever of the FJR, you'd get speeding tickets just for being parked!

That would look totally awesome.

I like the white FJR running around here near Allen, Tx....

"... but that part is okay because clean bikes are gay."

Huh? <_< Bold statement considering all the hundreds of clean bikes I've seen on this site.

Ok, truth now... Someone just doesn't like cleaning their bike, eh? B)

Because you are a relative noobie, let me 'splain that to you:
Its a quote from Warchild's book of quotable quotes and collective wisdom! He thinks bikes are to be ridden, not parked and cleaned (Whatta concept!). Witness the look of most IBA rider's bikes, they have obviously been ridden, not washed. This is also the reason we give Warchild such a bad time about the 'Bus being soooo clean. :D

Dark colors are hard to see especially at night. :rip_1:

All bikes are black and hard to see at night. Think about it the next time one goes by. Why they put headlights on 'em.

Yes the black is hard to keep clean. I personally like the color and can't wait till this weekend to hopefully pick mine up. Nothing a couple squirts of detailer and soft rag can't fix. Then again, as much as we ride in SOCAL it is not like they sit around collecting dust.

Ahhh....no comments about the piccys...

but I'd like a red bike with those car flames... or maybe a yellow bike with red flames....

Even the blind cagers would see that bike!

Mary
