Canada Post has a small business registration that one can register for in about 3 minutes which gives you a small discount and lets you pay for and print everything including the customs declaration for shipping to the US and internationally. Rates have jumped on both sides of the border since letter mail has virtually disappeared but I don't think they can make it much easier. Using the postal service avoids the hard to stomach courier brokerage fees that quite often double the fees on items where they would have cleared customs for no extra charge. Be up front with the shipping charges and let the buyer decide. It could end up being a deal on both ends of the transaction.
