The world has ended. We are more than a month into when the NHL season was scheduled to start and the Leafs are in first place and haven't lost a game yet. If that is not a sign of the end of days I don't know what is.

Well, the world hasn't officially ended but since it's snowing right now you'd think the world was ending 'cause it seems like every swinging dick behind the wheel has magically forgotten how to drive in a f'n dusting of snow.

It's like Armageddon out on the streets this morning.

Since money and posessions will no longer matter, send them all to me. Sending them to a single place is easier than bothering with all the mess of multiple donations.

I'll use the money to build a huge storage facility to place all the posessions in the event the Mayans were wrong. I plan for it to be pyramid shaped.

Once the human race is dead we would no longer be polluting the atmosphere, (well, once all of our dead bodies have fully decomposed that is) so the greenhouse gasses would cease to be produced, the hole in the ionosphere would close back up, the polar icecaps would refreeze and the oceans would dry up and shorelines recede.

So the moral here is, don't pay too much for that shorefront property!!

All I know is the world didn't end. Christmas will happen, and I'll get my annual supply of socks and underwear, and a tie I won't wear.

Last night on the off chance the world was going to end, and watch the Poinsettia Bowl, and celebrate winter solstice, I went to the local casino to enjoy a couple of fine cigars. One was fine, the other not so fine. The scotch was very fine.

On a better note the days will start to get longer and riding time is near.

I always suspected you Gen I owners were slow but this is a new low even for you antique owners.

Here we are talking about the '12-'13 NHL season and some slowpoke is way behind.

Please try and keep up. Us Gen II & III owners are getting tried of waiting.

Here is a web cam from, of all places, Darwin Australia. When I posted this on 12/21 12:30 Pacific Coast time the sun was coming up on 12/22 at 5:56am.
