Although not the highest quality, I've found the screwdriver in the tool set that came with my bike works well for the screws on my bike. I also suspect it won't be too many more riding seasons until I misplace the tool set, and will have to locate a new JIS screwdriver.

 
Hehe, jis screw. I have by this Kindle of tools 10 years ago to work on m'y old virago. Like they are no tools in, and manuel screw was full rust, I Was oblige to by it. It's à friends Who work at Yamaha motos France Who have show me this tools.

May be it's just me, I don't like Phillips/slot head screws so I replaced all of them with the same size metric allen head screws as I already have a set of SnapOn metric allen wrenches (and that was on all the bikes/cars I own :) ). There are not that many Phillips/slot screws on bikes so I never bothered to get a JIS screwdriver.

In my fjr, I do the same, or torks screw. But on bike of friends I use Jis screwdriver
